You Support A Fool & A Fascist

It was among the harder days of recent times for reasons I won’t discuss here other than to say I am surprised I am still standing.

Or maybe I shouldn’t be, maybe life experience has made it clear that once I hit the crossroads I’ll have walked them all not matter what I may have planned.

I may not be who I was but I am who I choose to become and not what I choose to let go of.

Had another one of those hard conversations where someone asked me why I can’t be an adult about the Head Oompa-Loompa.

“Must you call him names? You know we respected the office during the last administration.”

“You support a fool and a fascist. You support a man who brings out the worst in people and celebrates it. You have a collection of one issue voters who ignore his many bad qualities because they think they are saving lives while tens of millions who are here now are being hurt.

And no, you didn’t respect the office. I have heard you make excuses for the birthers and the treatment of Merrick Garland. You don’t get to quote conspiracy theorists and say that some of the things they say are ok and expect me to ignore it.

Own your support or give it up.”

A Big Meeting

Got a big meeting tomorrow and figure it should be ok or at least I hope it will be. I have done all I can to make it so and we’ll find out if that is enough.

Drove 137 miles today for a very brief meeting and then walked five miles tonight and I ache.

Apparently I am getting older, but I am not dead yet.

Would write more here but got other places I have to update and other things to do so this is as much as you get, lucky you.

And with that I bid you adieu, I am off to sail away to my island hideaway.
