Facebook Videos, Blog Posts & The Naked Pictures Exchange

Some of you have asked me how I know other various other people on Facebook and more times than not I have said “biblically.”

I keep waiting for someone to ask if that is a euphemism for sexually or from Hebrew school but thus far no one has asked.

And if they do after this post I might say I know them in both ways.

Hell I might even add that I have kissed girls from 43 states in the Union and couple from the Confederacy. That could by hyperbole especially since the Confederacy no longer exists so maybe we ought to narrow it down to the Union.

We could narrow it further by using the Midwest, West and East coasts. If I really wanted to cause trouble I could include cities like LA, Chicago, New York, Cleveland and Kalamazoo.

But why cause trouble or write posts about Facebook videos that are rarely watched, blog posts that are never read and the mysterious naked picture exchange from the dark web.

The better question is why are you reading this and if you are, will you read it twice to make sure you haven’t missed any messages or meaning.

Been quite the few days and I am still processing all that has happened while wondering if I can make my beard grow back in less than a fortnight.

I Know Things Because…

There have been moments recently where I wanted time alone with some people.

You might ask if it is because they need an attitude adjustment and I would probably say yes but the reasons are different for them all.

I suspect one of them blames me for something that would have happened anyway and if I am wrong, well it won’t be the first or last.

Doesn’t change the need for the time alone.

One of the others needs my help understanding poor treatment of people isn’t acceptable and there are consequences for such behavior.

They would do well with gentle love taps and caresses followed by 10,000 paper cuts and a dip in a Tabasco sauce pool.

Such things are best left to silly posts and imagination because the thick headed might not heed the lesson and jail time accompanies such activities.

I am too old for that crap so best to just stick with the silly.

Anyhoo…

Got about six or seven calls today asking for my thoughts and ideas about some big changes and I shrugged my shoulders.

“I know things because I have lived through things but that doesn’t mean any of this will go as I think, let alone as I hope.”

****

“Anticipation is the issue.”

I paused and let the words settle in.

“We don’t know what is going to happen and the angst from anticipation is hard. Best to let go and roll with it.”

Kind of makes me laugh to say that because for the longest time that sort of thing was really difficult for me and in some areas it still is.

In some areas it is terribly challenging, but fewer than once was and that is a gift I am forever grateful for. It comes from hard won experience.

Life is one hell of a ride.
