If Covid should visit you there are many thoughts you might think and or consider but I am not sure that I am the correct person to ask about it because it would either kill me immediately or die of exhaustion from trying to do so.
Some would tell me such talk is silly bravado but I have reason to believe as I do and am not obligated to justify or defend it.
Someone asked me what I would do if their child received pictures of everyone in the family but themselves as a gift.
I said it is either clueless and tacky or tacky clueless and that if such a thing happened I wouldn’t waste much time on it.
“My kids know who their father is and there isn’t a damn thing anyone can do to erase it. No one can split that relationship and if they tried it would be to their detriment. They are Wilner children and though there are many things I question there faith isn’t ever one. Of this I am certain.”
It reminds me of a moment when someone asked my old man what he thought about a situation. “I am Grandpa. You can’t replace me.”
It is too bad I don’t have the moment on tape because there wasn’t an ounce of uncertainty or arrogance. It was a statement of fact and an observation of reality.
Similar to recognizing Mount Everest as being a permanent fixture in the Himalayas. Some things just are.
Contradict Me Again
There was a moment in which someone heard what I said and made a point to tell me I was wrong. I silently heard the voice in my head say “contradict me again” which told me I had grown tired of the childish antics.
That didn’t surprise me because if your experience with some people is behavior that is consistent with that your tolerance for such things fades.
So I reminded a couple of people that if you cross my boundaries and wander uninvited to places you don’t belong there will come a time when the Taurus will lower his horns and make clear that repeated trespassing in some places will ensure a response.
Some bulls just react but others note that if one way hasn’t had the proper impact there are other methods that will insure that such provocation isn’t repeated. And if it is it will only be done with full awareness of the consequences.
Sadly there are some whose myopia and or arrogance necessitates preparing for such severe responses because it is the only way to get through to them.
It is why some things are discussed once or twice and then dropped with the knowledge that if they are raised again it is because someone needs to reap the rewards of their stupidity.
No need to harp on it because those who know don’t do and those who do deserve what they receive.
Vaccines Don’t Always Work As Planned
They ask me to explain why vaccines don’t always work as planned as if such a thing is an indictment of all.
I ask them what they would do it I punched them in the face every time I saw them. “Would you defend yourself or walk away?” Would you take action that would prevent you from encountering me?”
The answer is yes to which I reply, “then you ought to understand science. Science takes data and adjusts based upon the information. That is not flip flopping, it is the mark of education and wisdom. Learn to do better and then do so.
They ask if contracting an illness that a virus is supposed to wipe out is a sign of failure. Again I remind them that sometimes they ought to read and if they did it would be understood the vaccine is supposed to help you surive an infection.
It won’t necessarily stop all transmission. It is not a sign of failure.

Sometimes people don’t understand what they read. I hear those with limited medical backgrounds complain about health related issues and recognize they don’t know what they are talking about.
Some have no experience and say things that are ridiculous and some have much deeper ye we still acknowledge their depth is still limited.
They think they know far more than they do. So I listen and respond accordingly.
Unchecked Stupidity
One of our fundamental issues is with the unchecked stupidity that comes from voices in Congress. People who talk about peach trees when they mean Petri or Gazpacho when they mean Gestapo ought not be in office.
Or if they are ought to do a better job of getting the education they so clearly missed out on when they were in school.
Narishkeit, there is far too much narishkeit in the world.
Sometimes you have to put pen to paper wherever you can and sort it all out.
