Making Like John, Paul, George & Ringo

They ask if one or both of us are making like John, Paul, George & Ringo.

“Are you communicating your thoughts and feelings via music or are you being direct?”

The response is a simple “maybe yes and maybe no.”

It is followed by a pained look, some confusion, uncertainty and questions.

“Got a few ideas about what really is and what really isn’t and hell if I know what to say. Cuz every time I think I am certain of one thing something happens and I can’t decide if it is just life or something else. It is a ridiculous place and position.”

Maybe Marcus Is Correct

Maybe the simplest and easiest thing to do is accept the words of Marcus Aurelius as being true and correct. Not all can be based upon science and even that which can can fall into shades of gray.

Sometimes we try to convince ourselves things must be one way because of circumstances and complications. Sometimes time makes us forget what we once held true as gospel.

And sometimes we forget that things and people change so what was gospel may not be any more.

But then again, if you never pull back the cover you never figure out what lies under the surface. The wizard may be just a man but man has pulled fire from the heavens and captured lightning in a bottle.

What is good is not always easy and what is easy is not always good.
