Seven Minutes Left

Gave myself ten minutes before I get on the treadmill and now I have seven minutes left of free writing.

Might come back later and write more, might not. Might talk about sitting in the parking lot of the BJs in Hurst with a big smile on my face.

Might say the reason why and who else was smiling but will probably just say sometimes you take a work call that is awesome.

Might say submit and let go for a while and let me carry you because I know things and can still make magic happen.

Might write about it elsewhere.

Might not.

Definitely going to say some aspects or exercise are harder than they once were and that I am frustrated with it and other things.

Yeah, some aspects of life are pretty damn hard, but man there has been some good stuff too.

I can say it because I have to been to hell and climbed out.

I Still Am

I am still an artist. I refuse to let go of some things just because others don’t see. Sometimes you can take them by the hand and show them and sometimes you can’t.

The trick is not letting their stumbling blocks turn into yours.

I still live. Haven’t died, though there have been moments I questioned much.

Yet here I am.

The sun still shines and the future is still bright, even if different than I might have expected or hoped.
