When You Think Of Me I Think Of You

You could call this a post written on nothing more than instinct. Words that flow from a space you can’t see inside me but perhaps can be felt.

Maybe.

Once it would have been like air for you and maybe it still is, maybe it always has been even when thought otherwise.

These are questions that ordinary folk cannot answer because they haven’t walked through the palace of the king and queen or been to the summer home of the lord and lady.

At best they can imagine but though some worlds might be infinite for those who belong they do not allow entrance to those who don’t.

All they can do is look in from afar and wonder if what they think they see or know is real.

Upon The Edge Of The Water

If you have spent time walking upon the edge of the water and looking up at the endless rows of twinkling lights and asked the man in the moon if another is watching with you there is a chance you may understand the secrets of the deep.

Perhaps you have fought to prove them wrong because of the complications inherent in acknowledging their truths.

The prize isn’t going to be handed out to those who just show up or to those who think a moment can be defined as participation.

Hard work is required and a modicum of effort but if you choose to do so you might gain more than a better vantage point to see what lies in the valley.

You might gain entrance and all of the gifts and opportunities that lie within.

And perhaps you might recognize the treasure of time spent with those who soothe your soul and ease your path.

The gift of time with those you most wish to spend it with is among the greatest of all.

Words written upon pages about shared experiences in past and present flow freely for those who know how to find them and those who feel need to write them down.

Moments in time that serve as a beacon from what was, to what is and light a path into an uncharted future.

There are no guarantees of success, reward or failure. There is only opportunity to walk the path and see or to walk away and try not to look back and wonder if the words might have been are tied to amazing, awful or something more neutral.

Neutral colors are good for places where sterility and ambiguity suit you but not so good for the skies you wish to walk under.
