They asked me to tell them a story about my background and people who knew me so I asked if they wanted to hear about SQ, the Trouser Snake Wrestler.
“It is Erev Thanksgiving and I could tell you about the 10,000 word story about our hero, the trouser snake wrestler and or tell you where to go to read about torrid tale but I am not sure you would appreciate it.”
They scrunched up their face and said something about taste and I said I taste good and asked if they knew the third season of Shtisel comes out next month and that a friend of mine has put together a program with some of the cast members.T
It was one of those conversations where you almost feel like you are talking to yourself but know that it is not entirely true.
There are responses and answers to the comments and questions you pose.
Heard voices outside and listened to someone say they would never forgive another for not finding them sooner, while they were younger.
Shook my head and wondered why some people decide they are a human equivalent of a tree and rooted into place because I don’t understand it.
I get it in concept, but not in execution. It sounds logical, rational and practical to some but if you are only passing the days what kind of life is that.
Working on a very large opportunity now, could be larger than another I had and am excited and nervous.
We’ll see what I learned from the past and how to execute it,.
Writing in a few places to keep the updates moving because a certain amount of stagnation hit but understanding that I am exhausted now.
Can’t be the only one feeling the weight of the recent past and the present. Had a ton of energy when I started and now I feel drained.
But grateful that there is a positive outlook in areas that didn’t have it for quite some time, a return of optimism and hope in some places and spaces that had been lacking.
I can almost see daylight again.
