I quoted Macarthur Park and Out In The Country along with a few other things knowing I would get a response but looking for one in particular.
Did it because I am in a particular kind of mood and wanted to make it almost as clear as wrapping hands in long dark hair
Had more than a few people ask me how I could pick Apple pie over chocolate cake knowing that I have a particular sweet tooth that probably wouldn’t be bothered if I had to pick one over the other.
Not for lack of discernment but just because I like them both but since that aforementioned mood hit me, well…
Tomorrow I’ll be out and about more than I want to be, but it is not without thought and we’ll see what happens.
If things go as I wish it will serve a greater purpose and if not, well let’s just say I have made up my mind about some thing.
Every now and then I have figured out how to use my will to make things happen, we’ll see if I pull a monkey out of my hat or something like that.
“Of all sad words of tongue or pen, the saddest are these, ‘It might have been.”

She’ll Come Through
A man asks if I remember a conversation from yesteryear and I nod my head.
“What did she say?”
“That if she chooses to commit she’ll come through.”
“What do you think?”
“When she chose to commit she did and when she refused she didn’t. It is that simple.”
Later on the same guy will ask me about modern stuff and want to know why I am a troublemaker.
“I am not. I know what I want. I know what I am willing to do to get it. I know what I am willing to take and not take.
If you haven’t been to hell you can’t possibly understand and I have been there more than once. Had my heart broken in more ways than one.
Live hard. Love hard. It is how I live and people will either accept it or not. I am not changing.”
He tells me I don’t have to make everything harder and I tell him I don’t have to wear a sweater because he is cold.
“We all have lines we will and will not cross. We all have things that seem ridiculously hard to some and ridiculously easy to us as well as the opposite.
You don’t have to adopt a lifestyle to make another happy unless doing so makes you happy too.”
