There is a good chance many people will skip over this post because it is a generic headline containing what appears to be a generic video produced by Google about how to engage in safe computing.
However some of you who take the time to read and watch will benefit from this for a number of reasons:
- You’ll see how easy it was for me to re-purpose existing content (always check the license/copyright before doing so)
- Some of you aren’t familiar with how malware is spread and will learn how to better protect yourself.
- You’ll see how YouTube can be used as search engine as well as a tool for entertainment and or educational purposes.

Hi Josh
Thanks for the info. I know that we have had toolbars or popups unexpectedly on our computers. Norton has been able to help with getting rid of it, but we have also found that somethings automatically installed and they had to be removed manually. Too bad brilliant minds are wasted on causing trouble for others.

Hi Mary,
I have had that very same thought. If they are smart enough to create the virus why can’t they use their skills for something “honest” and productive.
