Jon Buscall’s blog is filled with lots of rich material. His podcast is worth listening to on a regular basis. Try Michelle Quillin talks Social Media Strategy or Mark Schaefer and the Future of Blogging and tell me what you think.

I really enjoyed The problem with white space (And what you need to know about design) and I always like Three Things at Spin Sucks. Since I know some of you are surfing challenged I’ll point you to the Vanity Fair article about James Bond that Gini linked to. No pix of Barista Boy in that one.

Eleven days ago I asked for your help and received a tremendous response. My request was for you to help me build my social media footprint and you did great. The number of Facebook followers increased by more than 30% and Twitter received a similar response as well.

I am a father who writes about life, parenting, business, politics and fiction. I don’t use an editorial calendar because I don’t map out what I am going to write that far in advance.     1. TheJackB – Someone complained that this page doesn’t tell you what to expect to find here in this blog so I aim to rectify this with the next line. I am a father who writes about life, parenting, business, politics and fiction. I don’t use an editorial calendar because I don’t map out what I am going to write that far in advance. The primary focus will be on things that relate to children and parenting. But the nifty thing about that is that encompasses a wide range of things. Sometimes I work with companies on their PR/Marketing efforts. If they provide products or services I will disclose it. Here is an incomplete list of companies that I am currently or have recently worked with: Nintendo, Philips Norelco, Subway, Frigidaire and Mattel. Want to know more about me, keep reading.
