Guilty Of Drinking While Blogging

I cannot confirm nor deny being guilty of drinking while blogging or of being more graphic or honest in writing certain posts.

There are no posts that hail back to the roots of half naked Thursday, an event I didn’t participate in as anything but a reader and even then it wasn’t consistent.

That is because I am always focused on the written word and more inclined to slavishly work upon that which I put upon the page as opposed to looking at others.

Besides, if I really want to see others I might as well go to the ‘professionals’ and stare at people I am more likely to find as eye candy but even that is unlikely.

Though I have been to strip clubs it was always part of a bachelor party or fraternity party event. I never saw a point in paying to see a woman whose sole interest was my wallet. There is no upside to that and I am always aware of it.

Create With Your Hands

I have a cousin who works as a blacksmith on a part time basis. I believe it is a hobby of his but we don’t speak often so I am not certain.

Periodically I think about reaching out to him to ask questions about it and to engage in a conversation about creating with our hands.

I am curious if he sees/feels any relationship between that which is done via our head and that of our hands.

It is interesting to me, creation and creativity that is.

The words you see on the page generally flow freely from my fingertips based upon a voice in my head which I almost always hear when writing.

That voice often appears when I am working with tools on projects, but not always.

Haven’t figured out yet if it is because this is effortless for me and doesn’t require much of any focus. The professional writing is different in that I am concerned about how it rolls so I am likely to slow down and think about it.

But even then it doesn’t always require a ton of concentration to produce a draft or two.

There is typically more stress in my second run through where I look for typos and other grammatical errors because those are embarrassing.

They happen here too, but I have enough stress in life without trying for perfection in that which I do for fun.
