June, We Only Live Once

The man said, “June we only live once” which I interpreted as his trying to motivate a woman to do something, but what that was I do not know.

Thought about it briefly during a break between the clouds and sunshine but didn’t come to any conclusions.

Took an absent minded glance at Facebook and tried to give someone a like but was reminded I have been suspended.

Seems telling someone Biden was elected president in a fair and legitimate election might be a way to get into trouble.

Ok, I might have suggested the only people who believe such nonsense are devoid of critical reasoning skills and have a flawed relationship with reality.

Might have been slightly more colorful but not much. I didn’t use anything anyone would label as a curse word nor did I comment on physical appearance but apparently that isn’t relevant to FB perspective.

So here I am, back in a world before Facebook mattered or so the current weighing of importance goes.

Writing, Writing, Writing

Been doing quite a bit of it, oh yes I have.

Some of it here and some of it elsewhere, in places you can see if you know where to look and in others that you won’t unless I choose to share it with you.

There is a point and purpose to doing so because the voice and tone change from place to place to fill different needs.

But they all operate off of the desire to communicate certain thoughts and to improve my ability to do so.

It is a funny thing because some times I get irked when specific people don’t see what I have laid out and sometimes I get irked by those who wander into where they ought not be.

That is part of the risk and reward proposition you have to agree to when you choose to post in public spaces.

You accept that some people may read things you’d prefer they not. I don’t spend too much time worrying about it because I am adept at not answering questions or engaging in discussions I don’t want to.

Not everyone is entitled to know everything or to explore the inner recesses and some who are don’t have interest. It is the funny part of life, you’d tell them everything if they just picked up the phone.

Ten points to those who catch the reference.

June, We Only Live Once

It was a crazy couple of days and there were a couple of battles that exhausted me so this will be short.

Got to get off of the treadmill of life and onto the one in my house to see if I can run away or shake off the crap that has been chasing me.

Still reminded by recent events and other moments that the words the man shared make sense, “June, We Only Live Once.”

Might as well take advantage of opportunities as they come because that might the one time you get.
