Some of the lyrics in One Slip feel particularly poignant and I am lost in thought about what I sense. Nothing is as it should be so everything I do is based upon logic and a double dose of gut instinct.
Stress level is high and has been for an extend period of time.
Could have sworn I saw a ghostly presence at the bedroom door more than once and have felt someone or something watching me.
Doesn’t feel malevolent which is good because I am in no mood for it and I am pretty certain that I am on the verge of figuring out how to breathe fire.
It is that seesaw moment in which I can’t quite find balance or figure out if I am going up or down.
That is kind of disconcerting but I did tell someone that now is a time for others to be wary because I have taken off the shackles and am doing what I need to do.
Still there was a moment when I read something, muttered help me relax and then went flying out of the room on my way to take care of something.
A Partial Quote
I probably should have used the full quote in the picture above but at the time I had other ideas and thoughts.
That is not unexpected or unusual. Who we are now isn’t isn’t always who we were or who we will be.
“I wish it need not have happened in my time,” said Frodo. “So do I,” said Gandalf, “and so do all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us.”
I tell the kids to pay attention to who they want to be with or close to when times are good and when times are tough.
It is very telling and if you don’t pay attention to it you are making a big mistake.
When you have rough moments who you look for is as important as who you look for when you want to share the good times too.
Things will be different withing two years and maybe exceptionally so within five.
